Event Overview
From June 25 through August 8, 2025, Jack Shainman Gallery presents Ilé Oriaku, a poignant new body of multimedia drawings by celebrated Nigerian-American artist Toyin Ojih Odutola. Rooted in the sacred tradition of the Mbari house, this solo exhibition unfolds as a deeply intimate, yet structurally complex exploration of how we process grief, preserve history, and construct identity across cultural and generational divides.
