The Met is unveiling the newly renovated Michael C. Rockefeller Wing with a vibrant, all-day festival across its Fifth Avenue campus and outdoor plaza. After four years of transformative renovations, this is the public’s first opportunity to explore reimagined galleries showcasing the Arts of Africa, the Ancient Americas, and Oceania.
The day kicks off with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, followed by immersive programming that spans food, live performances, art-making, film, and cultural dialogue. Festival highlights include:
