Sotheby’s is proud to present the El Museo del Barrio 2025 Benefit Auction, taking place on June 13, 2025, in support of one of New York’s most vital cultural institutions. This year’s event, held in conjunction with El Museo’s 2025 Gala, honors the late Tony Bechara (1942–2025)—a visionary artist, cultural patron, and longtime advocate for Latinx art and heritage.
The auction features over 25 outstanding works from leading Latin American and Latinx artists, generously donated by renowned galleries across the globe. From bold contemporary statements to historically rich expressions, this collection offers a dynamic lens into Latinx artistry at its finest.
