Inspired by the iconic 1997 Grammy-winning album—and the Oscar-nominated documentary it inspired—this musical captures the heart of Cuba through its timeless sound.
Directed by Saheem Ali (Fat Ham) and written by Marco Ramirez (The Royale), Buena Vista Social Club tells a fictionalized story inspired by the legendary ensemble that brought together once-forgotten Cuban musicians to reignite genres like son, bolero, and danzón. Featuring choreography by Patricia Delgado and Justin Peck (Carousel, West Side Story), this vibrant production is a tribute to music, memory, and cultural rebirth.
