The 2025 Tribeca Festival commences with the world premiere of Billy Joel: And So It Goes, an HBO original two-part documentary, at Beacon Theatre on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at 7:30 PM ET (doors open at 6:30 PM ET).
Directed and produced by Emmy® winners Susan Lacy and Jessica Levin, the film offers an intimate portrait of Billy Joel, exploring his journey from Long Island roots to sold-out stadiums. Featuring rare archival footage, personal photographs, and in-depth interviews, it delves into the love, loss, and personal struggles that have shaped his songwriting.
Following its premiere, the documentary will debut on HBO and be available for streaming on Max later this summer.
