From September 11, 2025, through January 18, 2026, the Leslie-Lohman Museum of Art presents a captivating solo exhibition by Athi-Patra Ruga, a South African artist known for his genre-defying explorations of myth, identity, queerness, and liberation. This marks Ruga’s most significant presentation in the U.S. to date—one that blends vibrant performance, handcrafted tapestries, photography, and wearable art into a richly symbolic visual mythology.
