Event Overview Running through January 4, 2026, Cosmic Splendor: Jewelry from the Collections of Van Cleef & Arpels at the American Museum of Natural History is a glittering celebration of humanity’s enduring fascination with the cosmos. This dazzling exhibition features more than 60 masterfully crafted pieces—including jewelry, timepieces, and objets d’art—inspired by the mystery, scale, and poetry of space.
From Galileo’s early celestial discoveries to the Apollo 11 mission and modern cosmic revelations via the James Webb Space Telescope, Cosmic Splendor traces how our exploration of the universe has shaped high jewelry design. Presented in collaboration with Van Cleef & Arpels, this unique installation invites visitors to experience how the grandness of the galaxy is captured in miniature works of radiant artistry.
