About the event
In celebration of its 100th anniversary, The Morgan Library & Museum presents A Celebration: Acquisitions in Honor of the Morgan's Centennial—a stunning exhibition running from May 9 through August 17, 2025. This curated selection honors the legacy of J. Pierpont Morgan and his visionary librarian Belle da Costa Greene, highlighting the incredible growth of the Morgan’s collection over the past century.

Two manuscripts tied to Leonardo da Vinci’s Treatise on Painting
Bookbindings from the Renaissance and modern eras
Manuscripts linked to Queen Elizabeth I, Marie de’ Medici, Edgar Allan Poe, and John Coltrane
Photographs by Emmet Gowin and Frederick Sommer
