This fall, The Drawing Center presents a rare and focused exploration of one of contemporary art’s most enigmatic and quietly radical figures: Trisha Donnelly. Opening October 17, 2025, and running through February 1, 2026, this exhibition is the first ever dedicated exclusively to Donnelly’s drawings, offering deep insight into her elusive yet profoundly resonant visual language.
For over 25 years, Donnelly has created drawings that defy traditional classification—often appearing minimal, spectral, or otherworldly. Her works on paper invite viewers into a space of intuition and presence, where meaning resists definition and perception becomes the medium.
