About the event
Celebrate the power of youth creativity at Drawing Out 2025, on view from June 4 to June 22, 2025, at The Drawing Center in New York City. This annual student exhibition features works by elementary and high school students who participated in the Michael Iovenko School Programs, including Drawing Connections and Drawing All-Stars, in partnership with Teen Art Salon.
Bringing together students from over ten public schools across NYC, this exhibition is the culmination of months of hands-on workshops where students explored drawing as a tool for self-expression, experimentation, and cultural reflection.
Featured schools and programs include:
P.S. 42, Lexington School for the Deaf, Chelsea CTE High School (Drawing Connections)
Van Lier Fellows from Bard High School Early College, Brooklyn High School of the Arts, and others (Drawing All-Stars)
